Blonde Vinyl 1992, CD

This was the first of Steve's "spoken word" CDs, and consists of poems read over ambient music and tape loops. Some poems were also printed in The Boundaries. Produced in three studios, the combined efforts were collectively released on Mike Knott's Blonde Vinyl label.

We Dreamed That We Were Strangers

Empty Orchestra

Twitch Records, 1994 CD

"Empty Orchestra," say the liner notes, is the literal translation of karaoke. This is an instrumental album with poems printed in the liner notes. Listeners could be "Steve for a day" by reading the poems over the music. Most poems are from The Boundaries, including  some from the as yet unreleased Collected Boundaries.
