UPA combined very limited animation with its signature modernistic style in this light, slapstick take on Chester Gould's comic strip. Here Tracy's the dispatcher. The crime fighting is done by Joe Jitsu, Go Go Gomez, Heap O' Callory and Hemlock Holmes (a British bulldog) and the Retouchables, drawn from the Keystone Kops. |
