Dick Tracy: The Complete Animated Series--DVD

All 130 five minute episodes on four discs of the popular 1961 UPA series. UPA combined very limited animation with its signature modernistic style in this light, slapstick take on Chester Gould's comic strip. Here Tracy's the dispatcher. The crime fighting is done by Joe Jitsu, Go Go Gomez, Heap O' Callory and Hemlock Holmes (a British bulldog) and the Retouchables, drawn from the Keystone Kops.




Inspector Gadget Vol. One--DVD

Wowsers! 22 episodes on four discs of DIC's Inspector Gadget, voiced by Get Smart's Don Adams. Gadget's gadgets always get him in trouble, but thanks to supersmart niece Penny and her aptly named dog, Brain, the trio always manage to foil the nefarious Claw.
